Last week we gather to empower various bloggers. Ready, Set, Blog 2.0 is just like a blogging summit in a hotel. Same thing that we did last 2016 Xmas Party in KL Tower. But this time in a different hotel called Selah (Jungle Costume Theme) its more of like a Kick Off and Valentines special because its February.
We did have different speakers like tech blogger John Cueto of larawanatkape.wordpress.com talked about Blogging 101 and digital marketing. While Ross Flores Del Rosario events, business and travel blogger of wazzuppilipinas.com talks on How to Elevate Your Blog.
Then Adae Ang adae2remember.com mentions about Personality Development more of religious blogging thing. Then last is Zheyme Manahan of tasteofgoodness.info - talks about SEO for bloggers. On how to position your articles and blog in Google and Yahoo ranking search.
I thought blogging summit can be done in School before like UP or Ateneo. Or in just a regular event travel business gig. But this time it overnight with lot of activities, games, exercise and prizes. Some did swimming and did zip-line. Some also brought their family as inspiration of blogging and to release stress.
What makes this event special is that the effort of each member. I mean they did spend a lot of time in this. Like preparing for slides to educate fellow blogger. Getting sponsor pledged to make this event memorable.
I think Anne and Maiko gave a lot of GC's. Close to million peso worth maybe to lucky bloggers. Aside from that they also award laminated blog certificate to all participants. But the most important thing is the knowledge that they share to its fellow bloggers. As we support each other, bloggers from different niches.
