See what's in store at Museo Pambata during the merry month of May! Kids of all ages will surely enjoy the activities the museum has lined up for the last summer month.
 
Moms and kids can bond at the museum, and even receive free gift items! The first 30 moms who drop by the museum get special treats from our gift shop.
 
Be sure to drop by the Pasalubong gift shop this May, and avail of items in discounted prices.
 
Sweat it out this summer by joining the Capoeira Workshop for Kids. Children aged eight to twelve years old are invited to learn about the Brazilian martial art of Capoeira, with instructors from Escola Brasileira de Capoeira. Call the museum for details on schedules and workshop rates.
 
Journey to the European Union without even boarding a plane! “Lakbayin Natin ang EU”, to be held on May 8 – 11, is a week-long event that showcases the different EU member countries, and how they care for Mother Earth. It's a week filled with activities such as storytelling, games, arts and crafts, and language demonstrations.
 
Know how to take proper care of your pet, as well as how to stay safe from pet dangers. Join a short workshop on responsible pet ownership with Animal Kingdom Foundation on May 12, 10 AM.
 
Kids get healthy and happy through games! MP will invite kids from around Metro Manila to participate in Museolympics, to be held on May 25, 9 AM. Museolympics aims to promote excersise, health and leisure, as well as re-introduce traditional Filipino games to children.
 
Everyone can be a friend to nature, and you can learn how by reading “Tree for All,” Museo Pambata's book feature for May. “Tree for All” is written by Grace D. Chong, illustrated by Beth Parrocha-Doctolero, and published by OMF Lit./Hiyas Publishing House. Join a storytelling session of the book on May 26, 10 AM.
 
You can also enjoy the museum's regular programs. Join a storytelling session every Saturday morning (10 AM), become a shadow puppet master (May 5, 10 AM), get your hands busy with arts and crafts (May 6, 13, and 20, 2 PM), and enjoy a Filipino dance performance by the Bayanihan Philippine National Folk Dance Company (May 19, 10 AM).
 
Museo Pambata is located at Roxas Boulevard corner South Drive. Museum hours from Tuesday to Saturday are from 9 AM to 5 PM and 1 to 5 PM during Sunday. All activities are for free with admission (Php 100 for both children and adults). Manila residents with valid IDs may come in for free during Tuesdays and avail of a 50% discount on other days. Join our friends from the European Union as they teach you more about their respective countries and how they care for the Earth through art, storytelling, language demonstrations, and many more!
 
May 12 - What's Best for My Pet, 10 AM
Let's Learn how to care for opur pets and be safe around them in a short workshop by Animal Kingdom Foundation, Inc. on responsible pet ownership.
 
May 13 – Museo Pambata Guides Corner, 2 PM
Got a gift for Mom on Mother’s Day? Why not give her a paper flower? Learn how with the museum guides.
 
May 19 – Ang Bayanihan sa Museo, 10 AM
Enjoy your favorite Filipino folk dances, performed by the Philippine National Folk Dance Company.
