210 schools are competing for nationwide fight against malnutrition for the past 3 months. This activity like essay, play, design was able to create awareness about malnutrition. And Kids from all over Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao gathers together and showcase their great creativity and talent to sing, play and speak. The department of education, Geiser Maclang, and Kraft Cheez Whiz organize this great school event.
So after the cool presentation last Saturday Oct 2, 2010 @ UP University Theater in Diliman, Quezon City. Team Iriga- Sabayang Bigkas is the Winner please see this cool video by one of the judges Janet Toral. I can feel the crowd, energy and talents of this energetic and creative kids from various school province all over the Philippines. They have a great synergy to win this contest and cool voice. Nice props, coaching and most of all the essence of theme which is to fight malnutrition. This is a great initiative from "Palamantasan ng Sarap, Sustansya at Saya" theme.
“There are 13 million Filipino children who are currently malnourished,” notes Paolo Serrano, Senior Brand Manager for Cheez Whiz. “And clearly, the magnitude of the problem means that everyone should do their share—no matter how small—in solving it.”
This campaign is totally dedicated to children and everyone in the family. I just remember my younger brothers and sisters who seems to be the ages of this participants. Perform loudly and nicely last Saturday in the big theater of UP. And its really good to see healthy and talented kids like this making us all aware. The essence and value of good health with is essential to everyday family living.
Activity like this helps our country and children more stronger, smarter and healthier. Aside from winning various health and school contest. I believe it boost the moral of kids to eat more of healthy foods instead of junk foods. This is the lifestyle of the kids and they must see and witness this kind of creation.
